TK Talaria was leased out to the South Island and during a training run got dust in one of her eyes that resulted in an eye absess that was operated on by Canterbury Equine Clinic. She came home and was sent to Jay Abernethy as a 9yo and qualified and had two starts for $150. It was clear that her sight in one eye gave her sight and confidence issues in racing so it was decided to retire her.
She has her first foal in 2014, a filly by TK Titan that is currently called Poppy but her racing name is TK Arion.
